Emporia Country Club was established in 1911 by a group of local businessmen looking for a common setting to enjoy friendship, good food, golf and social occasions. The club has shared a rich heritage with the beautiful city of Emporia for over 90 years at the original location of 18th and Rural. Tradition has been a major factor in the life, growth and stability of the Emporia Country Club.
  The clubhouse features a Pro Shop, "19^th hole", banquet room and member dining area. We also have four tennis courts and a swimming facility for the membership. Our golf course is spread out over the hilly terrain of Eastern Kansas and features a lake down the center of the course. The golf course is viewed by many as a challenging and fun layout to play. Limited membership keeps our golf course in peak condition. Scheduling tee times is easy and members enjoy the speed of play so they can mix a  quick nine or eighteen holes of golf with other family responsibilities. Our PGA professional is readily available to teach group or individual lessons and assist you with choosing custom fitted golf equipment.
